What we do

Located in Narragansett, Rhode Island we are part of the Narragansett FFA (Future Farmer’s of America) Chapter. As an FFA member, students can compete in competitions at local, state, and National levels. One of the many classes our students can take is Floriculture, where students can create arrangements to take home or sell for holidays.

In floriculture students will dive into the world of floral design. They will learn what principles and elements make a spectacular arrangement and get the chance to get their own certificate in floral design.

Our Greenhouse

Managed by our students throughout the school year we grow house plants, vegetables, annual, and perennial flowers. We teach our students proper flower care/handling to prepare them for their own plants in the future.

Sugar Shack

Proud to call ourselves the only high school in Rhode Island to have its own sugar shack our students will learn and make their own maple syrup from our local maple trees. The students help with the whole maple syrup process from tapping the trees, boiling the sap, to bottling the syrup.

Plant Sale

Join us at our annual Plant Sale held in the spring. Our grown plants, vegetables, maple syrup, and flowers will be sold by our students! They run the show so don’t be afraid to ask them any questions!

Check out our students products while browsing. Each year they create their own SAE (Supervised Agricultural Experience) that can be anything from jams, ice cream, to custom shirts. Don’t miss out!

Home Show

In Providence, Rhode Island? Find us at the RI Home Show at the Convention Center in April. We’ll be selling our maple syrup produced at our high school. Come and say hi!
